Brake Modulator Bracket Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Caution: To help avoid personal injury, due to a retained load on the brake modulator, the Gear Tension Relief function of the scan tool must be performed prior to removal of the ABS brake modulator/master cylinder assembly.





1. Remove the brake modulator assembly.
2. Remove the bracket mounting bolts.
3. Remove the bracket from the frame.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Install the bracket onto the frame.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the bracket mounting bolts.
^ Tighten the bracket mounting bolts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the Hydraulic modulator assembly.
