Installation Procedure

1. Position tab on the shoulder retractor with the hole in the shelf panel. Place the shoulder belt retractor on the shelf panel and install the anchor bolt.

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Tighten
Tighten bolt to 40 N.m (30 lb. ft).
3. Position the lap belt on the floor so the tabs on the bottom of the retractor are on each side of the bump on the floor pan. The bump is forward of the anchor hole. Make sure the webbing is not twisted.
4. Install the anchor bolt.
Tighten
Tighten bolt to 40 N.m (30 lb. ft).
5. Install the seat back to rear window trim slide belts into the slots.
6. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats and Carpet.
