Initial Inspection

PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS
1. Check that the windshield is clean and Head Up Display (HUD) window is clean and unobstructed.
2. Check Fuse 5A in the I/P Fuse Block by visual inspection.
3. Before component replacement, check for poor terminal contact at component and related harness connectors.
4. Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems.
5. Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove good in a continuity/voltage check with system disconnected. Refer to Troubleshooting Procedures. Diagnostic Aids
