Side Rear Door Trim Panel

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

TOOLS REQUIRED
J 38778 Door Trim Panel and Garnish Clip Remover.

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution




1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the two retaining screws from the lower armrest bezel.
3. Remove the trim panel insert.
4. Release the trim panel retainers between the door and the trim panel. Use the J 38778.
5. Lift the trim panel upward.
6. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
7. Remove the trim panel (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Align the trim panel to the door.
2. Connect the electrical connectors.
3. Install the trim panel to the door (2).
Push on the outer edges of the trim panel in order to secure.
4. Install the trim panel insert.

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

5. Install the two trim panel retaining screws.

Tighten
Tighten the fastener to 1.8 Nm (16 lb in).

6. Connect the negative battery cable.
