Console Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the transmission control lever handle retainer (1).
2. Remove the transmission control lever handle (2).
3. Remove the upper center trim plate.




4. Pry up on the rear edges and sides of the shifter trim plate (1). Lift the shifter trim plate (1) up partially from the console.






5. Disconnect the PRNDL electrical connector (1).
6. Remove the shifter trim plate.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Partially install the shifter trim plate (1).




2. Connect the PRNDL electrical connector (1).
3. Align the shifter trim plate fasteners.
4. Fasten the shifter trim plate by pushing downward.
5. Install the upper center trim plate.




6. Install the transmission control lever handle (2).
7. Install the transmission control lever handle retainer (1).
