Air Deflector Louver Replacement - Rear Console

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the console compartment door.
2. Remove the console compartment door plate fasteners (1).




3. Remove the console compartment door plate.
4. Separate the rear air duct assembly. Use a flat bladed tool to release the air duct/rear air deflector assembly from the front section of the air duct.




5. Remove the air duct/rear air deflector assembly.
6. Use a flat bladed tool to release the rear air deflector (1) from the rear air duct (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the rear air deflector to the rear air duct. Fasten the air deflector retainers (1) to the studs (2) on the air duct by pushing downward to engage the retainers to the studs.




2. Align the air deflector/air duct to the front section of the air duct in the console compartment door. Push inward to fasten.
3. Install the console compartment door plate.

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Install the console compartment door plate fasteners (1).

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).

5. Install the console compartment door.
