Scan

The SCAN push-button is a momentary type control that is shared with the preset scan feature. Pressing the button will immediately mute the audio. Releasing the button within 2 seconds will cause the frequency to increase until a signal of sufficient strength stops the scanning. After stopping, the audio is un-muted while the tuner pauses for 5 seconds before again muting and continuing to scan. If you press the SCAN button a second time, or if no stations are found after 2 complete band cycles, the scan action ceases and the receiver reverts or stays tuned to the last frequency that was selected.
