Wheel Speed Sensor Jumper Harness Replacement (Front)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable hoist. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.





2. Disconnect the front wheel speed jumper harness connector from the front wheel sensor.
3. Remove the harness (4) from the splash shield retaining clip (5).
4. Remove the harness (4) from the control arm retaining clips (3).





5. Disconnect the front wheel speed sensor jumper harness connector (2) from the front wheel sensor.
6. Remove the front wheel speed sensor jumper harness (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Connect the front wheel speed sensor jumper harness connector (2) to the wheel sensor.
2. Connect the front wheel speed sensor jumper harness connector to the wheel speed sensor.





3. Install the harness (4) to control arm retaining clips (3).
4. Install the harness (4) to splash shield retaining clip (5).
5. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
6. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, engine off.
7. Perform the Diagnosis System Check. Refer to "ABS Diagnostic System Check" in Antilock Brake System.
