Seat Adjuster Replacement - Front (Six-Way Power)
REMOVAL PROCEDURESeat Adjuster Replacement: Front (Six-Way Power) - Removal Procedure:
1. Remove the front seat.
2. Place the front seat upside down on a clean, protected surface.
3. Note the location of the power seat adjuster electrical wiring harness.
4. Disconnect and remove the electrical wiring harness from the adjuster assembly.
5. Remove the trim finish panels.
6. Remove the seat adjuster to cushion frame bolts.
7. Remove the seat adjuster from the seat cushion frame.
8. Remove the drive cables.
9. Remove the cross-brace bolts.
10. Remove the cross-brace and separate the adjusters.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
IMPORTANT: Make sure both power seat adjusters are in phase with each other before attaching the cross-brace.
Seat Adjuster Replacement: Front (Six-Way Power) - Installation Procedure:
1. Attach the cross-brace to the power seat adjusters.
2. Install the cross-brace bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the cross-brace bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
3. Install the drive cables.
4. Install the seat adjuster to the seat cushion frame.
5. Install the seat adjuster to the cushion frame bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the seat adjuster to cushion frame bolts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).
6. Install the trim finish panels.
7. Install and connect the electrical wiring harness to the adjuster assembly.
8. Install the front seat.
