Power Recliner Replacement - Front Seat

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Power Recliner Replacement: Front Seat - Removal Procedure:

1. Remove the front seat.
2. Open the J-retainers on both sides of the seat cushion cover.

3. Remove the recliner to seat cushion frame roll pins. Discard the old roll pins.
4. Remove the recliner to seat back frame pivot bolts.
5. Remove the recliner from the seat cushion frame.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Power Recliner Replacement: Front Seat - Installation Procedure:

1. Install the recliner to the seat cushion frame.
2. Install the recliner to seat back frame pivot bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the recliner to seat back frame pivot bolts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).

3. Install the recliner to seat cushion frame roll pins. Use new roll pins.

Power Recliner Replacement: Front Seat - Installation Procedure:

4. Close the J-retainers on both side of the seat cushion cover.
5. Install the front seat.
