Seat Cushion Cover Replacement - Front
REMOVAL PROCEDURESeat Cushion Cover Replacement: Front (Front Seat Cushion Cover) - Removal Procedure:
1. Remove the front seat.
2. Remove the seat cushion trim panel.
3. Open the J-retainers on both sides of the cushion cover.
4. Slide the cushion cover upwards to expose the recliner to seat back attaching hardware.
5. Remove the roll pins securing the recliner to the seat back.
Discard the old roll pins.
6. Remove the recliner to seat back frame pivot bolts.
7. Remove the seat cushion from the seat back.
8. Remove the seat cushion cover retainer rings.
Seat Cushion Cover Replacement: Front (Front Seat Cushion Cover) - Removal Procedure:
9. Unfasten the hook and loop retainers securing the front seat cushion cover to the cushion pad.
10. Carefully pull the front seat cushion cover away from the cushion pad.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
Seat Cushion Cover Replacement: Front (Front Seat Cushion Cover) - Removal Procedure:
1. Carefully pull the front seat cushion cover over the cushion pad.
2. Fasten the hook and loop retainers securing the front seat cushion cover to the cushion pad.
3. Install the seat cushion cover retainer rings.
4. Install the seat cushion to the seat back.
Seat Cushion Cover Replacement: Front (Front Seat Cushion Cover) - Installation Procedure:
5. Install the recliner to seat back frame pivot bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the recliner to seat back frame pivot bolts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).
6. Install new roll pins securing the recliner to the seat back.
7. Slide the cushion cover downwards and close the J-retainers on both sides of the seat cushion cover.
8. Install the seat cushion trim panel.
9. Install the front seat.
