Sunroof Drain Hose Replacement - Front

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Sunroof Drain Hose Replacement: Front - Removal Procedure:

1. Remove the instrument panel insulator.
2. Remove the parking brake lever, if replacing the left front hose.
3. Remove the acoustical patch.
4. Remove the headliner.
5. Remove the drain hose from the through hole in the front body hinge pillar lower.
6. Remove the grommet from the hole at the body hinge pillar.
7. Remove the drain hose from the through hole in the roof rail.
8. Disconnect the drain hose from the module fitting.
9. Remove the drain hose from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: Lubricate each end of the sunroof drain hose with general purpose lubricant GM P/N 12345579 or equivalent.

Sunroof Drain Hose Replacement: Front - Installation Procedure:

1. Install the sunroof drain hose to the vehicle.
2. Press the drain hose onto the module fitting.
3. Route the drain hose through the through hole in roof rail aligning the marking on the hose with the hole.
4. Route the drain hose through the through hole in the front body hinge pillar lower.
5. Insert the grommet into the hole until fully seated.
6. Install the headliner.
8. Install the parking brake lever, if replacing the left front hose.
9. Install the instrument panel insulator.
