Assist Handle

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Assist Handle Replacement: Removal Procedure:

1. Pull down on the assist strap (3 or 4) to expose the screws.
2. Remove the assist strap screws.
3. Remove the side rail lamp (2), if equipped.
4. Remove the assist strap (3 or 4) from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Assist Handle Replacement: Installation Procedure:

1. Position the assist strap (3 or 4) in the vehicle.
2. Install the side rail lamp (2), if equipped.
3. Install the assist strap screws.

Tighten
Tighten the assist strap screws to 3 Nm (27 lb in).
