Instrument Panel Switch Bank Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
The Instrument Panel (IP) switch bank consists of the trunk release, fuel door, front fog lamp (if equipped) and IP dimmer switches.

IP Switch Bank Replacement:

1. Remove the LH IP insulator.
2. Remove the steering column opening filler panel.
3. Remove the screws retaining the IP switch bank to the IP trim pad.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the switch bank.
5. Remove the IP switch bank.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

IP Switch Bank Replacement: Installation Procedure:

1. Connect the electrical connectors to the IP switch bank.
2. Install the switch bank into position on the IP trim pad.
3. Install the IP switch bank retaining screws.

Tighten
Tighten the IP switch bank retaining screws to 2 Nm (18 lb in).

4. Install the steering column opening filler panel.
5. Install the LH IP insulator.
