J38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover

Carpet Retainer Replacement: Removal Procedure:

1. Remove the right front carpet retainer using J38778.

Carpet Retainer Replacement: Removal Procedure:

2. Remove the left front carpet retainer using J38778.

Carpet Retainer Replacement: Installation Procedure:

3. Remove the left and/or right front carpet retainer using J38778.

Carpet Retainer Replacement: Installation Procedure:

4. Remove the left and/or right rear carpet retainer using J38778.
5. Remove the carpet retainer and/or retainers from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Carpet Retainer Replacement: Installation Procedure:

1. Install the left front carpet retainer to the vehicle. Snap the left front carpet retainer to the carpet retainer clip and apply force until fully seated.

Carpet Retainer Replacement: Installation Procedure:

2. Install the right front carpet retainer to the vehicle. Snap the right front carpet retainer to the carpet retainer clip and apply force until fully seated.

Carpet Retainer Replacement: Installation Procedure:

3. Install the left and/or right front carpet retainer to the vehicle.

Snap the left and/or right front carpet retainer to the carpet retainer clip and apply force until fully seated.

Carpet Retainer Replacement: Installation Procedure:

4. Install the left and/or right rear carpet retainer to the vehicle.

Snap the left and/or right rear carpet retainer to the carpet retainer clip and apply force until fully seated.
