Carpet Replacement - Front

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
The floor carpet consists of a molded one-piece carpet over both the front and the rear floor pan. Use the following procedure to remove and replace this carpet.

Carpet Replacement: Front - Removal Procedure:




1. Remove the front seats.
2. Remove the front floor console.
3. Remove the front seat belts and buckles.
4. Remove the rear seat cushion.
5. Remove the carpet retainers.
6. Reposition the front and rear door weather strip.
7. Unsnap the footrest cover from the footrest.
8. Remove the footrest nuts.
9. Remove the footrest from the carpet.
10. Remove the center pillar lower trim panel.
11. Remove the quarter lower trim.
12. Pull back the carpet.

13. Remove the carpet from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Carpet Replacement: Front - Installation Procedure:




1. Install the carpet.

2. Install the quarter lower trim.
3. Install the center pillar lower trim panel.
4. Install the footrest to the carpet.
5. Install the footrest nuts.

Tighten
Tighten the footrest nuts to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

6. Snap the footrest cover to the footrest.
7. Install the carpet retainers.
8. Install the front seat belts and buckles.
9. Install the rear seat cushion.
10. Install the front floor console.
11. Install the front seats.
