REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Hood Replacement: Removal Procedure:

1. Open and support the hood.
2. Mark the upper hood hinge locations to the hood with a grease pencil.
3. Remove the hood hinge to hood bolts with the aid of a assistant.
4. Remove the hood from the vehicle with the aid of a assistant.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Hood Replacement: Installation Procedure:

1. Install the hood to the vehicle with the aid of a assistant.
2. Align the hood hinges to the alignment marks on the hood.
3. Install the hood hinge to hood bolts with the aid of a assistant.

Tighten
Tighten the hood hinge to hood bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

4. Adjust the hood. Refer to Hood Adjustment.
