Amplifier Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
Tools Required
J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover

Amplifier Replacement: Removal Procedure:

1. Remove the rear window trim panel.
2. Remove the rear seat sound barrier.
3. Using the J 38778, remove the push-in fasteners retaining the low frequency audio amplifier to the rear shelf.

Amplifier Replacement: Removal Procedure:

4. Carefully lift the audio amplifier from the rear shelf to access the electrical/audio connectors.
5. Disconnect the electrical/audio connectors from the audio amplifier.
6. Remove the audio amplifier.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Amplifier Replacement: Installation Procedure:

1. Connect the electrical/audio connectors to the low frequency audio amplifier.
2. Position and carefully lower the audio amplifier to the rear shelf.

3. Install the push-in fasteners to retain the audio amplifier to the rear shelf.
4. Install the rear seat sound barrier.
5. Install the rear window trim panel.
