Fluid - A/T: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE





1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.

2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
3. Remove bottom pan (2) and the filter (4).
4. Remove the oil level control valve (3). Pull the valve straight out, do not pry on the valve or the transmission.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Install the oil level control valve (3) into the transmission. Push the oil level control valve straight on center of the valve.
2. Install the oil filter (4) and the bottom pan (2).
3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
