EGR Valve: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Disconnect the electrical connector at the EGR valve.

2. Remove the two base to flange nuts and linear EGR valve assembly.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Typical EGR Valve shown.

1. Install the EGR valve assembly and two nuts.

^ Tighten the nuts to 30 N.m (22 lb. ft).

2. Connect the electrical connector.
