Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Description and Operation

A/C System Plumbing:

The sensor performs both low and high pressure cutout functions through an input to the PCM. No compressor mounted switches are used. The sensor is mounted on a service fitting and can be replaced without discharging the A/C system.
