Component Tests and General Diagnostics
1. Check DOOR LOCK fuse by visual inspection.2. Verify that ground G201 is clean and tight.
3. If one or more of the Door Lock Motors do not operate properly, but the other Door Lock Motors function normally, check for mechanical binds in the Door Lock System.
4. If a motor's internal circuit breaker trips, it will not reset until voltage is removed from the motor.
5. If left front door lock is the only inoperative lock, and the vehicle is equipped with Keyless Entry, refer to Keyless Entry. Keyless Entry

^ Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system failure but prove GOOD in a continuity/voltage check (Refer to Troubleshooting Procedures).
^ Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems (Refer to Troubleshooting Procedures). Diagnostic Aids
