Rear Compartment

The rear compartment lid release is operated by applying battery voltage to the Rear Compartment Lid Release Motor when the Trunk Release button on the Transmitter is pressed. The Remote Control Door Lock Receiver cannot activate the Rear Compartment Lid Release Motor when circuit 1737 of the Remote Control Door Lock Receiver is not grounded. This circuit is grounded when the gear selector is in PARK or NEUTRAL.
