VTD Class 2 Communications

The Passlock� System requires the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and the Body Function Controller (BFC) to communicate various functions in order to operate. These functions are transmitted over the Class 2 Serial Data Line, or circuit 1807. For an explanation of Class 2 Serial Data operation, refer to Computer System Diagnosis.
