Gear Outlet Pipe/Hose

REMOVAL
Remove or disconnect the following:
1. Line retainer (if applicable).
2. Gear inlet pipe/hose from cooler pipe assembly.
3. Gear inlet pipe/hose from the steering gear.
4. Steering gear clamp nuts and slide rack forward.
5. Gear outlet pipe/hose from steering gear.
6. Slide outlet hose through clip to remove.
7. Gear outlet pipe/hose from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
Install or connect the following:
1. Gear outlet pipe/hose into position on vehicle.
2. Gear outlet pipe to the steering gear.
^ Tighten pipe to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).
3. Steering gear clamp nuts after repositioning rack.
Tighten nuts to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).
4. Gear inlet pipe/hose to the steering gear.
Tighten pipe to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).
5. Line retainer (if applicable).
6. Gear outlet pipe/hose to cooler pipe assembly.

NOTE: Bleed air from system and inspect for leaks.
