Composite Halogen Bulb Replacement

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Open hood.
2. Air Intake Splash shield by rotating retainers 1/4 turn counter clockwise.
3. Composite Headlamp. Refer to Composite Headlamp Replacement. (Buick and Pontiac Only) Composite Headlamp Replacement
4. Socket by turning counterclockwise and pulling out.
5. With vertical rocking motion, pull bulb rearward.
6. Electrical connector; with one hand, grip the wiring harness end of the bulb that the electrical wires go in to, but do not grip the wires. With the other hand, grip the base of the bulb, but do not grip the bulb glass. Then, carefully pull the bulb base apart from the wiring harness.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Bulb socket to lamp harness connector; Be sure low beam connector is to low beam lamp, and high beam connector is to high beam lamp.
2. Align bulb flange notch with lamp housing key-way; insert bulb into lamp housing.
3. Socket into housing and turn clockwise until properly seated.
4. Composite Headlamp. Refer to Composite Headlamp Replacement. (Buick and Pontiac Only)
5. Air Intake Splash shield by rotating 1/4 turn clockwise.
6. Close hood.
