Brake Pedal Assy: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the lower steering column panel.
2. Remove the pushrod from the brake pedal.
3. Remove the brake pedal assembly nuts.
4. Remove the brake pedal assembly.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the brake pedal assembly.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the brake pedal assembly nuts.
^ Tighten the brake pedal nuts to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).

3. Install the pushrod to the brake pedal.
4. Lower the steering column panel.
