Front Suspension

^ Tools Required
- J 21474-18 Nut
- J 21474-5 Bushing Receiver
- J 21474-13 Bushing Driver
- J 21474-19 Bolt Assembly
- J 23915 Flaring Tool
- Or Equivalents

FRAME-MOUNTED BUSHING





Remove Or Disconnect
1. Control arm from vehicle.
2. Frame-mounted bushings as follows:
^ Assemble bushing tool as follows:
a. Bolt, washer and bearing J 21474-19 through bushing driver J 21474-13 with small end facing bushing.
b. Bushing receiver J 21474-5 on front of the bushing.
3. Tighten bolt until bushing is driven out of frame.
4. Remove bushing driver tool.

Install Or Connect
1. Bushing into frame as follows:
^ Assemble bushing tool as follows:
a. Bolt, washer and bearing J 21474-19 through bushing receiver J 2147-5 with large end facing bushing.
b. Large end of bushing driver 3 21474-13 facing bushing.
c. Nut J 21474-18 to threads.
2. Tool J 21474-19 bolt.
^ Tighten bolt J 21474-19 until bushing is fully seated.
3. Remove bushing driver tool.
4. Control arm to frame.

CONTROL ARM MOUNTED BUSHING





Remove Or Disconnect
1. Control arm from vehicle.
2. Bushing by tapping down the flare with hammer and punch.

Install Or Connect
1. Bushing into control arm.
^ Assemble bushing driver as follows:
a. Bolt, washer and bearing J 21474-19 through bushing driver J 21474-13 with small end facing bushing.
b. Flaring tool J 23915 with small flare facing bushing.
c. Nut J 21474-18.
2. Tool nut J 21474-18
^ Tighten nut J 21474-18 until a 45° flare is reached and bushing is secure in the control arm.
3. Remove bushing driver tool.
4. Control arm to vehicle.
