Output Button Gaging Procedure

NOTE: Gaging can be done without the booster being installed on the vehicle, if a suitable vacuum source is available.

Gaging Output Button:

MEASURE
1. Gage booster with 68 kPa (20 in. Hg.) of vacuum, or maximum engine vacuum available.
2. After booster assembly has been assembled, position J 37839 over output button. Check both maximum and minimum button length.
3. Output button cannot be interchanged from booster to booster. If output button length does not fall between maximum and minimum dimensions, replace booster.
