Exterior Components

NOTE: The vacuum check valve and grommet can be inspected and/or serviced without removing the booster from vehicle.

Exterior Components:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Vacuum check valve and grommet.
2. Booster.
3. Boot and air filter.
4. Front housing seal. Inspect Boot, front housing seal, and grommet for cuts, nicks, or excessive wear. Replace the part(s) if any of these are found. Clean Boot, front housing seal and grommet in clean denatured alcohol. Dry with unlubricated compressed air.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Lubricate inside and outside diameters of grommet and front housing seal with a thin layer of silicone grease.
2. Front housing seal.
3. Air filter and boot.
4. Booster.
5. Grommet and vacuum check valve.
