Fade Control

The "FADE" control is a 270 degree rotary pop-out/pull knob with center detent that is shared with the balance function. The control adjusts the relative volume between the front and rear speakers. The control is operated by first depressing and releasing the knob to the "out" position, then pulling to the fully "extended" position. Rotating the knob clockwise will cause a volume shift from rear to front speakers and conversely, rotating the knob counterclockwise will cause a volume shift from front to rear speakers. At full rotation in either direction, audio be completely eliminated from the corresponding front or rear channels. Depressing and releasing the knob a second time will return the knob to the "in" position.
