Steering Wheel

^ Tools Required :
- J 1859-03 Steering Wheel Puller
- J 38720 Side Screws
- Or Equivalents

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Disable Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) system.
2. Inflator module.
3. Nut.
4. Note mark on steering shaft and steering wheel to ensure proper alignment during installation.
5. Steering wheel, using J 1859-03 and J 38720. Be sure to use the correct size bolts for pulling the wheel.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Route wiring through steering wheel.
2. Align mark on steering wheel with mark on shaft.
3. Steering wheel.
4. Nut.
^ Tighten nut to 41 Nm (30 lb ft).
5. Inflator module. Do not pinch any wires.
6. Enable SIR system.
