Vacuum Solenoid Valve HVAC: Service and Repair

Solenoid Switch Assembly:

Remove or Disconnect

1. Swing down I/P compartment by pulling rearward and disengaging swing stops.
2. Vacuum harness connector from solenoid switch.
3. Electrical connector from solenoid switch.
4. Solenoid switch screws.
5. Solenoid switch from heater A/C module.

Install or Connect

1. Solenoid switch to heater A/C module.
2. Solenoid switch screws.

Tighten
^ Screws to 1.4 N.m (12 lb. in.).

3. Electrical connector to solenoid switch.
4. Vacuum harness connector to solenoid switch.
5. I/P compartment, push forward.
