Brake Proportioning/Combination Valve: Description and Operation

Two valves are in line with the rear brake pipes, and limit hydraulic pressure to the rear brakes after a predetermined master cylinder pressure has been reached. The proportioner valves improve front to rear brake balancing during normal braking.
