Windshield Washer Spray Nozzle: Service and Repair

Description:

A correctly operating windshield wiper/washer system has a spray pattern that cleans 75-80% of the wipe pattern within ten wiper cycles. 10-15% of the spray should go over the windshield. If the overspray is excessive or if the pattern is low on the windshield, shimming of the nozzles (8) may be necessary.

If a nozzle becomes plugged, apply air pressure. If the nozzle remains plugged, it must be replaced.
