Engine Oil Dip Stick - Dip Stick Tube: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the negative battery cable.
2. Loosen the nut holding the tube to the exhaust manifold. Pull upward.
3. Remove the oil level indicator and tube.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the oil indicator tube assembly to the engine. Ensure that the O Ring is in place. Ensure that the assembly is fully seated in the engine.
2. Slide the tube assembly under the exhaust manifold nut. Tighten the nut to 19 Nm (14 ft. lbs.).
3. Connect the negative battery cable.
