Warning/Indicator Lamp Operation

Two methods are used to inform the driver that a malfunction has occurred in the brake system. The red "BRAKE" lamp and the amber "ABS" lamp, both located on the front of the instrument panel. Oldsmobile uses two "TRACTION CONTROL" lamps, both located on the instrument panel. The "TRACTION ACTIVE" lamp informs the driver that "Traction Control" is in operation.
