Glove Compartment Lock: Service and Repair

Remove or Disconnect
1. I/P compartment.
2. Door from I/P compartment.
3. Push paper clip through the hole in back of latch to hold down silver tumbler. While holding down tumbler insert key.
4. Rotate lock cylinder with key 1/4 turn counter-clockwise.
5. Lock cylinder.

Install or Connect
1. While pushing down silver tumbler on lock cylinder insert key into lock cylinder keyhole.
2. Lock cylinder assembly into I/P Compartment lock cylinder hole.
3. Hold lock cylinder assembly in hole while removing key from lock cylinder assembly.
4. Door to I/P compartment.
5. I/P compartment to I/P.
