Wiper Motor Linkage: Service and Repair

Arm In Inner Wipe Position:

Drive Link Socket Alignment:

Transmission Assembly And Module:

Module Carrier Plate And Bell Crank:

Remove or Disconnect
1. Two drive link socket screws (LL), then remove socket (KK) from crank arm ball (1111).
2. Nine screws (64) to detach transmission assembly (47) from module.

Install or Connect

NOTICE: Refer to Service Precautions.

1. New transmission assembly (47) 011 module with nine screws (64).
Important
^ Step 2 MUST be followed carefully to ensure proper wipe pattern. The wiper motor assembly MUST be put onto inner wipe position at this point.
2. Using a bolt or other suitable diameter tool (Phillips screwdriver), line up holes in module carrier plate and bell crank together.

Tighten
^ Drive link socket screws (LL) with alignment tool in place.
