Wiper Blade Element Replacement

Wiper Blade Assembly:

Important
^ To prevent possible windshield damage, the blade assembly should be removed from the wiper arm assembly to replace the blade element.
^ If a blade element is removed, it must be replaced.

Remove or Disconnect
1. Wiper blade assembly from wiper arm assembly.
2. Insert a small coin between edge of blade superstructure (X) and blade element (43) beside claw. Press slowly until blade element clears one side of claw set (Refer to View A).
3. Blade element (43) from other claw sets (Y).

Install or Connect
1. Blade element (43) into claws (Y), starting with second set from outer end (Refer to View B).
2. Engage blade element (43) into one side of remaining claw set (Y) and, with a rocking motion, push blade element upward until it snaps into place (Refer to View C).
3. Wiper blade assembly (42).
