NOTE: The three way catalytic converter can be serviced by replacing the entire converter.





REMOVAL
1. Raise vehicle and suitably support.
2. Nuts from manifold.
3. Bolts/screws from intermediate exhaust pipe to three way catalytic converter.
4. Converter.

INSTALLATION
1. Converter.
2. Intermediate exhaust pipe end bolts/screws to three way catalytic converter.
3. Nuts to manifold. Tighten:
^ Nuts to manifold to 32 Nm (24 ft. lbs.).
^ Bolts/screws to three way catalytic converter to 47 Nm (35 ft. lbs.).
4. Lower vehicle.
