Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

A/C Pressure Sensor/Fan Switch:

Remove or Disconnect

1. Air cleaner and duct assembly.
2. Battery negative cable.
3. Electrical connector at switch.
4. Switch from evaporator line.

Install or Connect

1. New O-ring seal lubricated with mineral base 525 viscosity refrigerant oil.
2. Switch to evaporator line.

Tighten
^ Switch to 5 N.m (44 lb. in.).

3. Electrical connector at switch.
4. Battery negative cable.
5. Air cleaner and duct assembly.
