Quick Connect Retainer

The quick connect retainer can be removed from the heater pipe and replaced if necessary. It is recommended that the retainer he replaced whenever the quick-connect is disconnected. If the retainer is to be reused, the use of J 42202 is recommended.

Tool Required:
J 43302 Quick Connect Remover

1. Clamp J 42202 around the heater pipe.

2. Slide J 42202 around the heater pipe.

3. Apply pressure towards the quick connect retainer until the ramps release from the pipe.

4. Remove the quick connect retainer from the pipe.
