DESCRIPTIONThe toothed ring mentioned above is pressed onto the outer Constant Velocity (CV) joint. Care should be exercised during service procedures to avoid contact with this ring, as damage to one or more teeth may result. If the ring is damaged, the outer CV joint must be replaced.
