CHART TEST DESCRIPTION
Number(s) below refer to circled number(s) on the diagnostic chart.
1. Verifies that the "BRAKE," "TRACTION OFF," and "ANTILOCK" indicators work correctly during the Bulb Test.
2. Checks if the Tech 1 can turn the "ANTILOCK" indicator "ON" using the Tech I ABS/TCS Lamp Test.
3. Checks for an open in CKT 1250.
4. Checks for an open in CKT 39.
5. Checks for an open in the LDM, EBCM/EBTCM, or CKT 852.
6. Checks for a short to voltage in CKT 875.
7. Verifies that the "ANTILOCK" indicator turns "ON" with a known good LDM. This test decides whether the LDM or the EBCM/EBTCM is malfunctioning.
8. Checks the "ANTILOCK" indicator bulb.
9. Checks for an open in CKT 875.
