NOTE: On Air Bag Equipped Models, Refer To Air Bag Disarming & Arming Procedures. Refer to Air Bags and Seat Belt/Air Bags(SRS)/Service and Repair.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove steering wheel and covers as described under Steering Wheel. Refer to Steering and Suspension.
3. Place ignition key in the off/Lock position.
4. Remove two ignition switch mounting screws, then disconnect electrical connectors and remove switch, Fig.10 .
5. Reverse procedure to install.
