Fuel Pressure Test Port: Service and Repair

Fuel Rail Assembly:

CLEAN
Area around fuel pressure connection with GM X-30A or equivalent.


REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Relieve fuel system pressure.
^ Refer to Fuel System / Service and Repair.
3. Fuel pressure connection cap.
4. Valve core assembly, and discard it.
^ Use standard valve core removal tool.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. New valve assembly.
2. Negative battery cable.

Inspect
^ Turn ignition switch to the "ON" position for two seconds, then turn to the "OFF" position for ten seconds. Again turn to the "ON" position, and check for fuel leaks.

3. Fuel pressure connection cap.
