Gear Cluster Support

Bearing retainer bolt hex socket tool No. J-36031, or equivalent, is required to perform this procedure. Engage the gear cluster in fourth and reverse gear.

1. Remove bolts (91), then the cover (90) and selective shim (87).

2. Remove retainer (88) and output gear cluster using socket tool.

3. Return transaxle to Neutral position.
