External Transaxle Mounted Linkage

1. Install retainer (130).

2. Apply pipe sealant part No. 1052080, or equivalent, then install select lever retainer bolts (132). Tighten bolts (132) to specifications.

3. Apply high temperature grease to slot in collar (134), then install collar (134) and new pin (138).

4. Install pivot (133) and new pin (131) with lever (135) and retainer (129).

5. Apply threadlocker part No. 12345382, or equivalent, to shift shaft threads, then install washer (136) and shift lever nut (137). Tighten nut (137) to specifications. Do not allow lever (135) to move during installation of nut (137).

6. Install fluid lever indicator assembly (110).

7. Coat new speedometer signal assembly seal (220) with thin film of transaxle oil, then install onto electronic speedometer sensor assembly (172).

8. Install electronic speedometer sensor assembly (172), retainer (212) and bolt (213). Tighten speedometer sensor assembly bolt (213) to specifications.
