Canister Purge Solenoid: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect electrical connector and hoses from solenoid.
3. Remove lock tabs from solenoid bracket.
4. Remove solenoid.

INSTALLATION

1. Install solenoid to engine bracket. Snap the EVAP purge solenoid down over the lock tabs of the bracket.
2. Connect hoses and electrical connector on solenoid.
3. Connect negative battery cable.
